Here’s to a fantastic season ahead!

It doesn't just stop there...

We’re proud to sponsor an 11-a-side football team based in Bradford called Sporting Bradford. The team was formed after two rival teams merged due to funding cuts. They meet twice a week—training on Thursdays and playing on Saturdays. Competing in a Yorkshire-based league, they also travel further afield for tournaments and friendly matches.

Tournament Victory:
A few weeks ago, the team participated in a tournament and came out on top! It was a fantastic achievement, and morale is high as they look ahead.

First League Game:
After delays with league and FA registration, everything is finally in place. The teams first league game was on Sunday, 24th November, at Goals Bradford.

We hope Sporting Bradford have an amazing season!

Or there...

On April 1st, 2024, Sam Eagle tragically lost his life to suicide after years of battling mental health challenges and addiction. It has been an unimaginably difficult time for his family, but we are determined to honour his memory by raising awareness about men’s mental health, particularly within the construction industry, which was a part of his story.

Sam's journey with mental health began at a young age. Despite the limited support available, he found that physical activity, especially team sports, became a positive outlet for him. He excelled in rugby, earning scholarships and accolades, but his struggles persisted. As a teenager, he turned to street drugs as an escape, which impacted every aspect of his life.

Though he sought fresh starts, including working abroad and pursuing a career in construction, his battle with addiction and mental health issues remained. The stigma within the construction industry made seeking help even harder, and after a long struggle, Sam took his own life.

We are committed to ensuring his death was not in vain by supporting Mates in Mind, a UK charity dedicated to raising awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in industries like construction. Their mission is to provide resources, guidance, and support for workers and employers, with a goal of transforming the industry and saving lives.

No family should endure the pain they have experienced, and we hope to create lasting change in Sam’s memory.
